A
business by any other name, still
smells as sweet -
The number one question we are asked is,
"How did we come up with our name?"
For the first year that
we were in planning for our business its
tentative name was 'Sign & Design'.
Later, when we were studying other businesses'
names we learned that all of them sounded
the same: sign-this, that-sign, the other-banner.
This is when we realized that we needed
to do something different.
The brainstorm went like
this: Two giraffes… …no, people
will associate the name with our height.
Three Monkeys… perfect. So now we
are constantly compared to simians and asked,
“Who is the third monkey?” Wow,
we really dodged the bullet on that one!
So in fact 3monkeys refers
to the proverbial monkeys that are deaf,
dumb and blind to evil. Because when you
have nothing to do with evil, it is all
